My goal as a writer has always been to tell stories which inform and enlighten readers about unknown, obscure, and ignored corners of the world. This philosophy guides much of my work, whether I’m writing an investigative journalism piece about education policy, a feature story about a nearly forgotten art-form, or a report on a centuries-old religious tradition.
